Knowing we had a late boat ride to see the icebergs, we all slept in for a lazy start. It felt good not to have to rush around to break camp and get on the road. We got to the dock around 10:45 for our iceberg tour. If anyone is ever in King's Point and is in need of any kind of boat tour, whether it be for icebergs or fishing, I highly recommend King's Point Boat Tours and Adventures. Ang and Captain Barry are wonderful people to deal with and you won't be disappointed. Our 40 minute boat ride to get a close up view of the bergs was only $20 a person. It was so cool to be able to see them up close. Be prepared, there are a lot of photos here, I kept clicking as Captain Barry slowly motored around 3 of the 4 icebergs that were in the bay.
Fun Fact: these icebergs are from Greenland and have been traveling for 2-3 years before arriving in Newfoundland.

This is the first iceberg that split and flipped yesterday just after we arrived.
There was a pool of water in the middle of this one.
This is the one we lovingly call meringue, because it looks like the topping on a lemon meringue pie. If you look carefully on the left, you can see a face. Up close, it looked like Donald Trump with his crazy hair. We all laughed and made fun of it. The best part was after we motored away, when no one was looking, his face fell off into the water.

Once we finished the boat tour, we were off to Twillingate. On the way, we were lucky enough to see a moose and her calf in a creek in Badger. We saw some people on a bridge taking some photos and realized there was a moose and calf in the river below.
We drove past trying to find a place to stop when a trucker laid on his horn trying to scare the moose and all the tourists photographing them. It must have worked, because by the time Grant had gone around the block and parked on the opposite side of the street, all the cars and people were gone. But, that never stopped us from looking where wildlife used to be, so John, Julie-Ann, and I crossed the busy street to take a look, and low and behold, the mother and her calf returned to the river to continue eating. I was able to get a few decent photos, again, missing my good lens.
We continued on our way and stocked up on groceries in Lewisport. John and I took pictures as Grant drove.
We arrived in Twillingate around 4. There were no icebergs in Twillingate, to see one from here, you would need a 4 hour boat ride. We were all so glad we took the time to go into King's Point to see them.
We stayed at the Peyton's Place RV Park. The guys had a campfire and the girls stayed in and played Catch Phrase.
